    How much money do teachers make around the world?

    Teacher salaries are very difficult to calculate as there are different schools – kindergarten, elementary or primary, middle, high, university, academies. There are also different areas within a country, where some teachers could work at rich schools, and some in poorer areas.
    The experience and qualifications of the teachers also play a role in how much they earn. A first-year teacher will get paid less than someone with 10 years’ experience.

    Besides all these complications, there is lack of or differing information on many countries, making it difficult to calculate each nation’s average teacher salary.

    But even with all these issues, I’ve attempted to find information on teacher salaries around the world and detail the average MONTHLY salary each country. That is then converted to USD to easily compare.
